USGround elk makes such a healthy and convenient source of protein. It can be used for many things including tacos, spaghetti, burgers, meatloaf etc. Our family enjoys it as well as our pets! Feels good eating and feeding healthy elk meat!
USWe’ve had the venison and elk from First Light and both have surpassed our expectations in terms of quality and taste. Living on an island can have its disadvantages, one being access to high quality foods. I found First Light wagyu at a Whole Foods off island and was thrilled to find out I could order their products direct. Always well packaged and arrives within days of ordering. My dogs love the treats as well!

USI haven’t been able to hunt for some years but this elk feels just as pure and clean. So grateful for it! Incredible flavor. I only wish there was also bones, fat, and frozen organs available to go with it!! But I open the organ capsules and sprinkle them over the sautéed elk (sautéed in elk caul fat) along with some elk bone broth!! POWER IN A PAN!
