USRecently purchased 4 tenderloins MBS 9+. Cooked one of them sous vide for 3 hours at 130 degrees then seared in cast iron skillet. It was a beautiful bright pink medium rare, but...it was overly tough and chewy to eat. Not tender at all. After paying approximately $110/pound, I feel a bit cheated. I will say, though, that the ground wagyu I purchased at the same time made some excellent burgers!
USThe healthiest and best quality meat which is 100% grass fed is this company producing. You can find it in high end restaurants or have it delivered to your door. My highest recommendation. This is the only meat I eat.

USWagyu 9+ filets were a real treat. Tender and nicely marbled but also grass fed. Best of all worlds.
USI’ve been ordering Australian Wagyu Tri- Tip and love that cut albeit can be a bit chewy but flavor is spectacular. I was excited to try the Wagyu filets and I have to say without a doubt I will not buy again compared to the Tri-Tip the flavor was just not close to the excellent richness of the Tri-Tip, such that, 4-5oz portion is all I need. So for my money I’m with Anthony Bordain, “ real chefs order Tri-Tip, never filets”
