USI have noticed an obvious disparity of quality within each shipment received so far. Nothing bad so much as sometimes great and sometimes just good. I would have liked to think that, at least with the higher rated NY Strips, the quality would be consistent, but that was not the case. So mildly disappointed but would likely order again.
USHave typically ordered MBS 4-5 and been very satisfied. Decided to try a higher degree of marbling, not expecting a great difference. But, WOW. The 9+ truly is a cut above. Not sure I have ever had a tastier steak. They cost about one-third more, but are worth it!!
USOften difficult to obtain, these steaks were particularly suited to the grill. With a touch of Japanese marinade while getting to room temperature, these turned out to be the best strip steak I’ve ever had. Bar none.
USThe Wagyu NY Strip Steaks (MBS 9+) did not fail to deliver. These babies tasted wonderful and cooked to perfection over my gas grill. The marveling was beautiful and gave the perfect buttery taste to the steaks. I highly recommend these for special meals/occasions. Pair these with some roasted veggies and a nice glass of California Cab and you cannot lose!
