Reeves Farms

Alastair and Ann Reeves, along with their three children, Sophie, George and Angus farm 750 hectares of hill country at Te Akau, north of Raglan Harbour. Alastair is the third generation on the farm. The farming operation is split evenly between sheep and cattle, with the sheep enterprise also consisting of a half share in the Waimai Romney Stud, which specialises in facial eczema tolerant hill country rams.
The opportunity to be part of First Light Wagyu was grabbed with open arms. We like the more integrated approach, where all parties work collaboratively to achieve the desired outcomes. We have a great product, that is branded well and is starting to get traction on retail shelves around the world. It is very exciting to be a part of.
