Our MBS 2-5 Wagyu rump cap, also known as Picanha, is full of flavour! Steak it up, roast it whole or skewer it on the rotisserie. An incredibly versatile cut, always juicy, tender and a guaranteed crowd pleaser.
In South America the Picanha has achieved cult status. Picanha is the second most popular boys name after Angus. Caramelise the fat on a high heat then back it off to medium, close the lid on the BBQ or put in the oven and cook to medium rare. Great with chimichurri or salsa verde.

This item is delivered chilled. If this is purchased with frozen product, your items will be shipped together. Orders are dispatched Mon-Thurs on an overnight service with NZ Couriers for delivery the following day.
We deliver to all urban North and South Island addresses. Orders are dispatched Monday – Thursday on an overnight service for delivery the following day. Our shipping rate is $9.50 nationwide and we offer free delivery for all orders over $200.
We aim to get your order processed and dispatched within 2 working days. Once your order is dispatched, an automated track and trace email will be sent so you can track your order from depot to door. Please check your spam folder if you don’t receive this.
All orders containing perishable product are shipped with authority to leave instructions. We are unable to deliver directly to rural addresses as an overnight service is not available. For our rural customers, we have the option to deliver your order to the nearest NZ Courier depot or agent for collection. We will contact you to confirm collection before dispatching your order.

NZExcellent. We have had this cut several times and find it is an economical and very tasty way to feed people. We slow roast it in a smokey BBQ for a short time (internal temp about 52C when it comes off for a rest. Good rub before cooking. It needs time but it sure is worth it.
NZWe purchased two Christmas boxes and a **** cap. Even though our order was incorrectly packed (missing items) this was very promptly rectified and compensated with excellent communication and service. The meat was so tender, rich in flavour and melted in your mouth. The Christmas box was a great way to try different products, with the meat patties making gourmet burgers!
