First Light venison chipolatas with red cabbage slaw

These little gems are a great crowd pleaser. Serve them up at a BBQ, party or post sport match. They're great for adults and kids alike!

Method

  1. Make slaw by combining all ingredients.
  2. Make vinaigrette by combining olive oil, red wine vinegar, salt and pepper in a cup. Fold through the slaw.
  3. Cook chipolatas on medium heat until cooked through and heat buns in the oven until lightly golden.

Serve

Cut buns through the middle lengthways and apply a generous spread of aioli onto the cut surface. Fill with slaw and top with a chipolata. Voila!
